This past Saturday morning, my husband and I decided to try Countryside Kitchen, and from the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found a gem. Tucked away in Mahopac, this cozy, inviting spot is everything you could want in a breakfast and brunch place—warm atmosphere, friendly service, and incredible food that keeps you coming back for more.
We chose to sit in the back deck area, which turned out to be a perfect choice. It’s well-insulated and beautifully decorated, creating a space that feels both relaxing and charming. Even on a chilly morning, it was comfortable and cozy, making our meal even more enjoyable.
Now, onto the food—which was nothing short of amazing! My husband went with a classic omelet, and it was cooked just right—fluffy, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. I ordered the Chicken Coop with extra cheese, and I can confidently say it blew me away. The combination of flavors was absolutely perfect, and I savored every single bite.
